  For Support, Natasha is part of the Kids with Arthritis Northern Region Support Group and the JDMS Friends Support Group. Natasha joined with KWA because there isnt an Auckland based Juvenile Dermatomyositis Group, and given the size of New Zealand, probably never will be. Natasha met the kids from KWA from her visits to the Starship Hospital where discussions showed they shared basically the same medications and therefore similar side-effects.

There is now a support group for Juvenile Dermatomyositis called JDMS Friends which is a Nationwide support group. Everyone is spread around the country but now Natasha can now meet and mingle with others who share the same restrictions as herself.

She is also part of the Cure JM Foundation and Mum is an active participant of the Forums there.
